What is a Nutritarian?

“Nutritarian” is a new term coined by Joel Fuhrman M.D..

Unlike a vegetarian or vegan identity that is based mainly around what you no longer eat, are carnivore, or omnivore which  basically mean you’ll eat meat or “whatever’, or other food population identities who are defined by the types of foods they eat, a nutritarian is someone whose food choices are influenced by nutritional quality.

According to Dr. Fuhrman, a nutritarian is also a person who  strives for more micro nutrients per calorie in their diet style, and recognizes  that food has powerful disease-protecting and therapeutic effects.

Of course a nutritarian is someone who is free from the diet traps.
